Use of Public Figures' Names

Why certain names appear on this site, and what their appearance does not mean.

Draft — not reviewed by counsel

References are editorial, not commercial endorsement

TMLSS occasionally names public figures — researchers, physicians, authors and practitioners — whose published work, books, lectures or public commentary have influenced how we think about health, performance and longevity. Those references are editorial and educational commentary about publicly available work. They are nominative references: we use a person's name only to identify that person and their work, and only to the extent needed to do so.

No affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement

No public figure named anywhere on this site is affiliated with, employed by, retained by, a partner of, or an investor in TMLSS. None of them has reviewed, approved, sponsored or endorsed TMLSS, our coaching, our methods, our materials or any outcome we describe. Any impression to the contrary is unintended and inaccurate.

No use of likeness, image, voice or signature

We do not publish photographs, portraits, video, audio, voice recreations, AI-generated likenesses, signatures or logos of any public figure in our marketing. Where we honour influence, we do it with typography and text alone. We do not imply a person appears in, speaks for or is featured by TMLSS.

Right of publicity and trademark

Individuals hold rights in the commercial use of their name, image, likeness and voice, and those rights vary by state — Nevada and Arizona both recognise them, as do most other jurisdictions we reach. Names, marks and program titles referenced on this site remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing here claims ownership of, or a licence to, any third-party name or mark, and nothing here is intended to trade on a person's identity to sell coaching.

Quotations and attribution

Where we quote or paraphrase published work, we attribute it, keep the excerpt short and use it for commentary and education. We do not reproduce substantial portions of copyrighted material, and we do not present anyone's published views as advice given to you personally.

Nothing here is medical advice

Discussing a public figure's published work is not medical advice, and it is not a recommendation that you follow it. TMLSS provides coaching and education only — see our medical disclaimer.

Requests to be removed

If you are a named individual, or represent one, and you would prefer your name not appear on this site, write to us through the contact form in the footer. We will remove the reference promptly and without argument.
