Express capacity
Strength and aerobic capacity are the closest thing we have to a currency for the decades ahead. We train for the person you intend to be at eighty.
Our philosophy
If you want one honest predictor of how the back half of your life goes, look at how much muscle you carry and how much oxygen you can use. Strength protects your structure and your metabolism. Aerobic base protects your brain, your heart and your capacity to recover from everything else. Our philosophy is unfashionable and deliberately so: we are not training for the mirror or for a personal record this quarter, we are training for the eighty-year-old who can still carry their own bags, get off the floor unassisted, and go on the trip.
That means most of your work is unglamorous — a base of easy aerobic volume, a small number of hard efforts, and heavy, well-executed strength work you can sustain for years without breaking. It also means we build the week around your real life rather than an idealised one, because the programme you actually complete beats the perfect one you abandon in March. Consistency compounds; intensity without recovery just borrows from next month.
TMLSS is a coaching practice. This is education and behaviour-change support only — it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not replace care from your own physician.
