Set the signal
Light is the first instruction your body receives each day. We treat it as the anchor everything else is built around.
Our philosophy
Before caffeine, before email, before the first decision of the day, your eyes are already telling your brain what time it is. Early outdoor light lands on specialised cells in the retina that report directly to the master clock, and that single signal sets the timing of alertness, appetite, mood and the wind-down that arrives some sixteen hours later. Nothing else you do in the morning is that cheap, that fast, or that quietly powerful. Our philosophy is simple: you do not manage energy with stimulants, you manage it with timing — and light is the lever that sets the clock.
So we make it non-negotiable and we make it easy. Outside, not through glass. Early, not at noon. Consistent, not heroic. Most people we work with are not broken; they are simply running on a clock that was never set, and they have been paying for it in afternoon crashes, restless nights and a nervous system that never quite gets the message that the day has begun. Get the signal right for two weeks and the downstream effects — sleep depth, hunger cues, training output, patience with the people you love — start correcting themselves without a single supplement being added.
TMLSS is a coaching practice. This is education and behaviour-change support only — it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not replace care from your own physician.
